The Cloudium Database as a Service (DBaaS) platform provides our customers with a managed database environment. In this model, Cloudium is responsible for the infrastructure, administration, maintenance, and scalability of the database, allowing our customers to focus on data and application management. Cloudium DBaaS facilitates the deployment and management of databases without the need for extensive database administration knowledge. Through a self-service interface or API, it gives our customers access to a variety of database engines, such as relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Couchbase, Elasticsearch).
Cloudium DBaaS services take care of database administration duties, including hardware provisioning, software installation, configuration, patching, backup and recovery. Customers can simply create, modify, and delete databases as required, without having to worry about the infrastructure underlying the databases.
The Cloudium DBaaS platform can autonomously add or remove resources such as CPU, memory, and storage to accommodate fluctuating workloads and application needs. Cloudium DBaaS automates database administration duties such as database configuration, query optimization, and index management. This reduces the burden on customers and ensures that database efficacy is at its peak.
Through replication, automated backups, and failover mechanisms, Cloudium DBaaS ensures the high availability and fault tolerance of databases. These features reduce interruption and data loss, providing uninterrupted data access.
Cloudium DBaaS platforms include monitoring and performance optimization instruments to monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize query execution. To improve the efficacy of their database operations, our customers can monitor metrics, configure alerts, and analyze performance data.
